Find the good news. Share the good news. Be the good news.
With all of the challenges and distress in the world today, I wanted to offer a dose of inspiration and hope. Each week I will be sharing something true and real in the world where someone has chosen to be kind and to offer their creation with generosity and often without being led by the thought of “what’s in it for me”?
Find the Good!
For this first week I chose Rachels Knoll, an amazing place in Sedona, Arizona. In the beauty of the red rocks and the canyon walls, serenity and peace abound. In Rachel’s own words: When I stepped onto the knoll, The vibrations took my breath away. The thought and feeling came. This magnificent view, this inspiration, should never belong to any one person, it should belong to everyone.”
In the mid 1970s Rachel found this extraordinary property and began to develop it. (See the full story www.lovesedona.com.) An accomplished businesswoman, she bought up a number of the surrounding vacant lots as well. On Easter weekend, 1989, Rachel dedicated the knoll to humanity and later set up a nonprofit to protect it and guarantee access to all who came. After her death, her children sold the property but with the provision that the Knoll would be open to all. The buyers did not follow these instructions and put up a gate to keep visitors away. After a long legal battle, in 2010 the courts declared the park must be kept open to the public. Rachels’ vision is a gift to any and all who visit.
Share the Good:
In my 2/2/25 Mother Mary channeling, Rachels Knoll was mentioned and credit given to Rachel’s extraordinary generosity and vision and to the power of the people who would not let the developer trample on the rights Rachel had deeded to all visitors.
Hearing the broadcast, one of my listeners, Judy, traveled to the Knoll and thanked me, saying “The timing was so synchronous with my planned visit to Sedona. I feel so honored and blessed that you guided me to such a beautiful, inspirational and powerful space on Mother Earth. I feel so charged with love, positive energy, and gratitude! Thank you for guiding me to all the beautiful sous that were placed in my path during my visit. I will be coming back!”
Be the Good!
For much of my life, I have sought out ways to bring people together. In the 1990s I created a directory called Connecting Arizona to introduce the people who were bringing new ways of healing such as sound therapy and energy modalities like Reiki. I organized a monthly meeting to Celebrate Spirit and offered a membership called Common Ground to communicate possibilities and nourish sacred connections. I wrote a poetic anthem: I offer it again today.
A Call to Common Ground
This is a time of chaos. This is a time for healing. This is a time of choice. This is a time to care.
This is a time to stand and say, “Yes!” This is a time to stand and say, “No!”
This is a time of challenge. This is a time for peace.
We join together; old and young; frail and strong; hearts and hands; to heal the wounds we have wrought for centuries.
There is blood in our waters; acid in our land; death in our skies.
We join together to take up the sword of truth and the shield of light; to dissolve all boundaries, deceit, and judgment. to stand united, once again; I and thou; in the garden of brotherhood/sisterhood.
The human heart is Common Ground.
My commitment is to find and offer the good news and to remind each of us that together if we choose the path of kindness, we can leave a legacy of beauty and inspiration. If you have a suggestion of someone or someplace that would be fitting to share, please email me at samarahgrace1111@gmai.com
For more than twenty-five years I have been offering Messages from Mother Mary. In these challenging times, if you feel called to receive her wisdom and guidance, I offer private channeled sessions via phone and Zoom. (one-hour session is $111) I also offer spiritual direction if you would like to further develop your connection with the divine. May we each find the good; share the good; be the good!
Namaste,
